There are six training sessions available that are strategically designed for three primary groups: high school students, college students and corporate professionals. Participants learn simple, practical methods to help prevent mental illness and to manage stress and adversity in healthy way.
Mental Fitness 101: Redefining Normal (Session 1) introduces the Building Blocks of Mental Fitness and demonstrates how to incorporate them in a group setting.
In Mindsets in Motion (Session 2), participants learn best practices on how to incorporate the various mindsets and other Mental Fitness tools into their current program.
Crisis & Response (Session 3) is led by a panel of Mental Health experts and includes a Q&A discussion that addresses how to recognize and respond to the signs and symptoms of mental illness. Each Mindset Development implementation site has Interactive Training opportunities through group sessions that focus on healthy coping skills. Our program staff also offers Technical Assistance which includes ongoing individual support and special attention during activity launch at each individual site.

It identifies special interests and the positive impact they have on an individual’s mental health. Participants may choose from Creative Writing, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Sports & Outdoors or Culinary Arts.
Lastly, Program Observation (Session 6) is an opportunity for each participant to attend and observe a current activity session led by a Mental Fitness program leader.
